The Foundations for Thriving programme is designed to be interactive and deliver practical skills that participants will be able to implement immediately in order to maximise their impact across the business.
Module 1: Understanding Yourself as a Leader

In this module we will consider what self-leadership is and explore how to enhance emotional intelligence. We will encourage exploration of individual core values and identify personal strengths and weaknesses.
​
By the end of the module delegates will be able to:

understand the concept of self-leadership;

recognise the importance of self-care and personal wellbeing in leadership;
-
recognise the qualities of emotional intelligence and self-leadership;
-
proactively consider values, strengths and weaknesses and what drives us as individuals.

Module 2: Compassionate Leadership
​
In this module we will explore the challenges that leaders face frequently and how they can be overcome. Through understanding the importance of championing civility, developing confidence in managing conflict and diffusing difficult conversations, leaders can find joy in leadership and ensure that the wellbeing of themselves and those they lead is optimised.

By the end of the module delegates will be able to:

understand the characteristics of compassionate leadership and its role in maximising team performance;

recognise the challenges that they may be faced with in a leadership role;

develop confidence in navigating conflict and diffusing difficult conversations.

Module 3: Inclusive Leadership
​
In this module we will consider how to to foster a culture of inclusivity, providing a safe space for sharing knowledge and empowering every member of the team to contribute and thrive.

By the end of the module delegates will be able to:

understand the concept of psychological safety;
-
recognise the importance that psychological safety plays in inspiring creativity within teams;

understand how leaders can create psychological safety and empower their teams to thrive.
Module 4: Fostering a Culture of Feedback
​
In this module we will explore how by normalising feedback we can promote communication, accountability and a culture of continuous improvement within teams.

By the end of the module delegates will be able to:

understand the importance of feedback in every day work;

understand how we can receive and give feedback to encourage it and maximise its impact;
-
understand how we can normalise feedback in teams and organisations.

Module 5: Coming up for AIR
​
In this module we will explore the purposeful alignment model, understanding its potential as a tool to use within teams to deliver sustainable value for your organisation. We will also explore the 5i meditation practice as a means to release our inner wisdom.
​
By the end of the module delegates will be able to:

understand and apply the purposeful alignment framework individually and within teams to navigate challenges in a sustainable way;
-
recognise the power of the 5i meditation practice as a means to explore deeper meaning and wisdom within their lives;
-
understand how Coming up for AIR programme fosters optimum individual and team performance.

Module 6: Beyond Law
​
In this module we will support leaders in recognising their transferable skills and explore the value these skills bring to operational, commercial, board or trustee roles.
​
By the end of the module delegates will be able to:

recognise their transferable skills and their application outside law;
-
understand the requirements and expectations for NED and commercial/entrepreneurial/operational roles;
-
identify the next steps in developing their career.
